Privacy policy

Who we are

EzYeah (ezyeah.com) helps parents find products for their children. It is run by Netanel Katzburg in Israel. Contact: privacy@ezyeah.com.

We built EzYeah to work without knowing who you are. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, address or a birth date. What we hold is linked only to a random ID in your browser.

What we collect

• A random visitor ID, stored in a cookie called vid for one year.
• Your saved products and the share links you create.
• A child’s age range, only if you choose to give one (for example “1–2 years”). Never a birth date or a name.
• What you do in EzYeah: visits, which product cards you see and swipe, shares you create or open, which retailer links you open, and when. We look at this as totals, to learn whether EzYeah is useful, not to profile you.
• How you arrived: the campaign code in the link you followed, or the share link you opened.

Our servers see your IP address to deliver pages, as every website does. We do not record IP addresses or browser details in our logs or database.

How we use it

• To show products for your child’s age, remember your saves and create share links you ask for.
• To measure whether EzYeah is useful, for example how many visitors come back, share picks or open a retailer link.
• To keep the service working and limit abuse.
• To meet legal obligations.

Cookies

We set one first-party cookie, vid, for saves, share links and the measurement above. We use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.

When you open a retailer link, you leave EzYeah. The retailer and its affiliate network (currently CJ) may set their own cookies, and their privacy policies apply (CJ privacy policy).

Who we share it with

• We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
• Share links are public: anyone with the link can see the products in it, and the age range only if you chose to show it. A share link never shows your visitor ID.
• Retailer links: when you open one, we send the affiliate network and the retailer a random click ID that is new for each click, so the purchase can be credited to us. It is not your visitor ID and does not identify you.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the data for us on servers in the United States.
• Where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We delete visitor records, activity and share links 24 months after your last visit. You can remove a share link sooner (see below).

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold, correct it or delete it. If you live in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you have rights to know, correct and delete your information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do neither.

• Stop sharing: turn off any share link from your saved picks, or email us the link.
• Start fresh: clearing your cookies for ezyeah.com separates you from your past activity.
• Everything else: email privacy@ezyeah.com. Because we only know you by the random ID in your browser, we may not be able to tell which activity is yours from an email alone. Sending us a share link you created helps us find it.

We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

EzYeah is for parents and other adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The optional age range describes a child; it is entered by a parent and is never a birth date.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS. Our database is not reachable from the internet, and access is limited to what the service needs.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If we start collecting something new, such as an email address for an account, we will say so here before we do.
